Biographical Sketch

Allison Hetrick graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Kinesiology with an athletic training emphasis. While at Penn State, she worked with the women's gymnastics team, swimming and diving teams and State College High School. Hetrick attended the University of Cincinnati for graduate school where she was the assistant athletic trainer with UC Football and head athletic trainer for baseball and men's soccer. She came to Morgantown to work with the WVU Athletic Department, overseeing multiple teams including women's gymnastics, woman's basketball, crew, cheerleading, tennis, rifle, and dance. In 2014, she moved to the academic side of campus. She worked as the clinical coordinator for the athletic training education program for four years before assuming her current role as interim program director of the undergraduate program.
