Biographical Sketch

Nancy Naternicola received her B.S. in Physical Education Teacher Education and Health at Fairmont State University and M.S. in Physical Education Teacher Education from WVU. She is a faculty member and Master Trainer for the American Council on Exercise. She is the fitness and wellness director of CPASS and develops fitness programming and teaches classes for the WVU Lifetime Activities Program. She oversees and teaches courses in the personal trainer minor and in the basic instruction program. She manages the WVU Stansbury Fitness Center and supervises personal training and exercise physiology interns. Naternicola teaches internationally for Fitness Pro Travel in Mexico, Bahamas, Jamaica, Punta Cana, and Curacao, Dominican Republic and Panama. She is an American Red Cross Instructor and member of West Virginia SHAPE. She enjoys kayaking, aerobics, weight training, snow and water skiing, biking, swimming, ice and roller skating, and horseback riding, among numerous other physical and wellness activities. She believes a “body in motion, stays in motion.”
