Libby Leaseburg Manus graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education/ English and a master’s degree in Child Development and Psychology. While earning her master’s degree she was a graduate assistant in the school of Physical Education. Along with other activities, she volunteered to assist in kindergarten and preschool programs at WVU. While living in Morgantown Libby was very active in many civic organizations besides having several retail stores, one of which was a lady’s boutique where she hired students from the University to help assist with their ‘real life’ education in their different fields of interest. She taught at Fairmont State College for one year and assisted in the development and implementation of the Interior Design program.
After her move to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with her sons, Libby continued to work in various businesses nationally and internationally. She is now employed with the Broward County Clerk’s Office as a Domestic Violence Court Specialist and previously was in finance as a Systems Analyst.
Libby has also has been involved with Ranger Technical Resources since 2004 working in a variety of roles supporting the president of the company. She also has been involved for 6 years and on the Board of Directors of a non-profit organization, Ranger Good Works, assisting under resourced K-5 children at a local school.
Libby served on the original Visiting Committee for the School of Physical Education.
