Biographical Sketch

Zenzi is a third year student from Swaziland, a tiny country in Southern Africa. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Biological Anthropology from Duke University, and her Master’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from West Virginia University. Her research interests are in the psychology of injury as well as development and social change through sport. She is hoping to use her time at WVU to develop her own youth sport program to promote HIV/AIDS prevention and gender empowerment in her home country. She currently has a Graduate Research Assistant position in the Department of Epidemiology. In her free time, Zenzi loves to do anything that involves being active; playing volleyball, swimming, exploring Cooper’s Rock. She is currently working on making more time to “just BE.”
