Megan is in her fifth year of the SEP doctoral program and hails from Florence, Kentucky. She received her Master’s degree in Sport Behavior and Performance from Miami University and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Eastern Kentucky University. She was introduced to sport psychology on accident, while debating between a future in school psychology or sport journalism. Sport psychology was a perfect blend and a perfect fit. She currently works as an SEP graduate teaching assistant. Her research interests are sport aggression, anger, perfectionism, and substance abuse. In her ‘free time,” Megan likes to watch sports, particularly the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals, and the UK Wildcats as well as attend concerts, explore this part of the country and get her run and fitness on outside. She has studied abroad in 5 countries and is currently completing her dissertation while teaching at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, California.
