Event Information

Make plans to join us for the fourth annual Mountain Duathlon at Coopers Rock State Forest. This exciting event will challenge competitors of all levels with a 2-mile trail run, 8-mile mountain bike, and a second 2-mile trail run. Mark your calendar as this is one event you won’t want to miss!

When:
April 14th, 2012 Coopers Rock State Forest – 11:00am start time
Race day registration will be held from 9:00am until 10:30am

Where:
Coopers Rock State Forest
Registration/check-in will be held at the Coopers Rock overlook pavilion at the far end of the main park road.

Entry Fee:
Event registration is $35.00 for entries received by March 30th.
Entry from March 31st through race day the fee will increase to $45.00.
Relay teams may enter for $55.00 early / $65.00 after March 30th.

Details:
Participants registered by April 5th are guaranteed a custom event t-shirt! Late registrants will receive t-shirts as long as supplies allow. Delicious post-event food and beverages will be provided.

About the Event:
This event is open to participants age 14 and older. All participants will be required to sign the appropriate race waiver at race check-in. Participants under the age of 18 will also be required to have their parent or legal guardian sign that they are granting permission for the minor to enter the event. Please note that there is NO Rain Date. We will race rain or shine. Entry fees are non-refundable for any reason.

Awards will be presented to the top three male/female participants from the following categories/ages: Overall, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+, Relays
