Event Information
Get ready for the 4th annual Friendship Hill 5-Mile Trail Run. A beautiful course will challenge racers as they race past blooming spring wildflowers, under towering trees, across green meadows, and along the Monongahela River.
When:
Saturday, May 4, 2013 – 9:00 am start time
Race day registration/check-in will be held from 7:00 am until 8:30 am
Where:
Friendship Hill National Historic Site (http://www.nps.gov/frhi/index.htm)
Registration/check-in will be held at Friendship Hill Elementary School. See directions below:
– To the Race Site: Take Route 119 North from Morgantown to Point Marion, PA. Stay on 119N through Point Marion until you cross the Cheat River. Turn left just past the bridge onto New Geneva Road. Friendship Hill NHS will be on your left in approximately 3miles.
– To Registration/Check-In: Follow the directions to the race site above but instead of turning left into the park, keep going on New Geneva Road for approximately 1/2 mile and you will see Friendship Hill Elementary School on your right. We will be in the parking lot near the road.
Entry Fee:
Event registration is $18.00 for entries received by April 19, 2013
Entry from April 20th through race day the fee will be $25.00.
Details:
Participants registered by April 26 are guaranteed a custom event t-shirt! Late registrants will receive t-shirts as long as supplies allow. Delicious post-event food and beverages will be provided.
About the Event:
This event is open to participants age 14 and older. All participants will be required to sign the appropriate race waiver at race check-in. Participants under the age of 18 will also be required to have their parent or legal guardian sign that they are granting permission for the minor to enter the event. Please note that there is NO Rain Date. We will race rain or shine. Entry fees are non-refundable for any reason.

Awards will be presented to the top three male/female participants from the following categories/ages: Overall, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+
