Experience the Underwater World
WVU Lifetime Activities has partnered with Dive Tech and Sports to offer a Discovery Scuba Certification class. This course is the foundation for any scuba diving dream. The Discover Scuba Certification prepares you as a basic open water diver and allows you to scuba dive anywhere in the world accompanied with a current instructor.

If you choose to expand your diving commitment, recreationally, technically or professionally, this fundamental course provides you with all the necessary training to move on and further your diving experience and certification level.

Discovery Scuba Certification is the practical pool sessions and certification that is taken in conjunction with the academic credit class PE 179 Orientation to Scuba

Pre-Requisite: 200 yard continuous swim and 10 minute rescue float

Location: All lecture sessions held in the Health and Education Building-CPASS Room G10. All pool sessions held at the Natatorium (Evansdale Campus)
Fee: $275 (includes certification materials and fees and use of equipment for all pool sessions)
Time: 6:00 -10:00 pm
