Biographical Sketch
Nathan Kile has served as the coordinator of the Adventure Sports Program within the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences since the fall of 2006. He has a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelors of Science in Recreation from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Nathan teaches a variety of adventure based courses such as rock climbing, caving, wilderness first aid, canoeing, navigation & survival, and backpacking. He oversees and instructs for the Adventure Sports Leadership minor offered through the Athletic Coaching Education program and also offers a variety of workshops, trips, and special events through the Lifetime Activity Program. In his free time Nathan enjoys reading, pursing his own personal adventures, and competing in endurance events such as triathlons and adventure races.
