Biographical Sketch

Dr. Alsop, Associate Professor Emeritus, founder, sport management program at WVU CPASS, was a full time member of the faculty for more than 35 years. During this time, he served the college and university in many capacities, including instructor, advisor, department program chair, division chair, graduate coordinator and served on many university-wide committees. His teaching responsibilities included classes in physical education, sport studies, and sport management at both the undergraduate and graduate level. In addition, he chaired numerous theses and dissertation committees.
