Jerry Koloskie earned his B.S. in physical education from WVU in 1980 and his master’s from Iowa State University in 1981. Koloskie is the Deputy Athletic Director at the University of Albany in New York. He arrived at Albany after 32 years at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He served as UNLV’s Head Athletic Trainer before being promoted to Director of Athletic Training and Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Operations. Koloskie was named Senior Associate Director in 1998 and then Interim Director of Athletics in 2009, becoming responsible for the Rebels’ 17 intercollegiate teams, as well as fundraising, donor cultivation, and community relations. In his final years at UNLV, Koloskie served as UNLV’s Deputy Director of Athletics, overseeing all areas of athletics administration and management, including sport supervision, personnel decisions, budget review, and fundraising.
